In Europa, si suggerisce agli operatori sanitari di utilizzare l&#8217;algoritmo SCORE2 (Systemic Coronary Risk Estimation 2). Per stimare l&#8217;algoritmo, lo strumento utilizza i fattori di rischio, come l&#8217;et\u00e0 e il sesso, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthy-heart.org\/keep-your-heart-healthy\/blood-pressure\/\">pressione sanguigna<\/a>, il <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthy-heart.org\/keep-your-heart-healthy\/cholesterol\/\">colesterolo<\/a> (livello di grassi nel sangue) e l&#8217;abitudine al <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthy-heart.org\/keep-your-heart-healthy\/smoking\/\">fumo<\/a>. \u00c8 possibile ridurre il rischio di malattie cardiovascolari tramite il trattamento dei precedenti fattori di rischio.<\/p>\n<p>SCORE2 mostra come questi fattori di rischio concorrano all&#8217;insorgenza del rischio cardiovascolare (espresso in percentuale), mettendo in evidenza quali fattori di rischio possono essere trattati per ridurre il rischio.
